Basildon Summer Summit 2019
John Morgan, Chief Executive at Morgan Sindall, together with Alan Hayward, Managing Director at Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS), and MSPS Partnership Directors Paul Reader and Glenn Monksfield were delighted to join leaders at Basildon Borough Council yesterday for a summer summit.
The summit provided an opportunity to look back over the last three years of our £330m Strategic Asset Management contract with the Council and celebrate key milestones and achievements.
Planned improvement projects and outcomes were showcased in a video to the Council Leaders and followed by presentations from Alan and Paul on our future plans and developments over the 10-year term.
Future plans will include further development of our IT platforms, improving our customers experience through digital channel shift and expanding on our social value initiatives.
Mandie Skeat, Service Director at Basildon Council, said: “It’s important to mark and celebrate three years of a true partnership contract. We have developed and matured to be effective in delivery as well as learning to embed service improvements.
“Improving the service to our customers is at the forefront of our thinking and three years into this contract we are looking to embrace digital transformation in seeking our customers feedback and helping us understand behaviours and trends.
“Another aspect of the successful partnership has been social value making a real difference to the opportunities available to our residents. We are extremely proud of the BasWorx social enterprise in delivering this.”
Alan Hayward, Managing Director at Morgan Sindall Property Services, said, “We welcomed the opportunity to present and share, to the new leader of the Council and John Morgan, the contracts achievements over the last three years and future capabilities for our partnership with Basildon. It was a really productive day, and there’s no doubt looking at the wider opportunities for MSPS and Basildon Council to develop further for the local communities and build on existing relationships.”
John Morgan, Chief Executive at Morgan Sindall, commented “It was a really good day. Great to meet a very happy client!”
