Award Success for Morgan Sindall Property Services and Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council at Regional Energy Efficiency Awards

Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) has been recognised at the Energy Efficiency Awards, securing the title of Regional Large-Scale Project of the Year for its delivery of the Wave 2.1 programme in partnership with Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.

The award highlights the success of the collaborative project, which has delivered significant energy efficiency improvements to homes across the borough. helping to reduce carbon emissions, tackle fuel poverty, and enhance living conditions for residents. The Wave 2.1 programme is part of wider national efforts to improve housing standards through retrofit and sustainable energy solutions.

In a further achievement on the night, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council was also named Regional Council of the Year, recognising its leadership, commitment, and impact in driving forward energy efficiency initiatives within the community.

This double success underscores the strength of partnership working between MSPS and the Council and reflects a shared dedication to delivering meaningful, long-term environmental and social benefits.

So I am delighted that we have won these awards for the ongoing work that we are doing to retrofit our housing stock, as well as the support that we are providing to local communities through our social value projects. I have visited a number of properties across Welwyn Hatfield that have been retrofitted and seen for myself the difference these works make to resident’s lives.
