MSPS is Highly Commended at the Westminster Business Council Awards 2019
On Tuesday Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) attended the Westminster Business Council Awards at the National Liberal Club, Westminster, London and we are delighted to announce we have been ‘Highly Commended’ for the ‘Best business delivering Apprenticeship Programmes’ by Westminster Business Council.
The ‘Best business delivering Apprenticeship Programmes’ category, highlights businesses committed to delivering apprenticeship programmes, how they do it and why. The judges were looking for businesses that demonstrated the impact apprenticeships have made to individuals’ lives and the workplace. Highlighting best practice in recruitment excellence, high quality training, diversity and career progression opportunities.
Attending the awards, amongst others, was Alan Hayward, Managing Director at MSPS, along with Zakaria Serrokh. Zakaria has progressed through our CityFutures ‘Work to Learn’ programme and is now a L3 electrical installation apprentice. This is one of many fantastic success stories of this programme.
CityFutures is one of our social value initiatives that offers pre-employment programmes to Westminster residents. Through a structured work based training and upskilling, delivered in partnership with Geason Training, it bridges the gap between young people leaving school and accessing apprenticeships, and provides the support required to help unemployed residents back into work.
