Next Phase of Energy Efficiency Measures Begin with Amplius

Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) are proud to be continuing our successful partnership with Amplius, delivering the next phase of a major energy efficiency programme, as part of the government’s Wave 3 Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund.
These builds on the strong foundations laid during the Wave 2.1 project, where MSPS worked together with Amplius to upgrade over 581 homes. Now work has begun on improving the energy efficiency of 150 homes in Cambridgeshire, with over 2,000 homes set to be upgraded as part of the next phase.
Our expert teams will be installing a range of measures designed to help homes reach an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C. These include:
- Internal, external and cavity wall insulation
- Loft insulation
- New doors and windows
- Low carbon heating upgrades
As with all MSPS retrofit projects, resident engagement is crucial to the successful delivery of our retrofit works. Engagement events hosted by Amplius and our dedicated resident liaison team have informed residents about the process and measures, so they have a clear understanding of the purpose, benefits, and potential disruptions of the works, fostering trust and cooperation throughout the process.
Mustafa Mustafa, Decarbonisation Director, Morgan Sindall Property Services said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our successful partnership with Amplius, supporting them with their net zero strategy, whilst also creating healthier, greener homes.
“Our collaboration for the wave 2.1 project allowed us to design and deliver the best possible measures for each home, placing residents at the heart of every decision, delivering real impact.
“Our experienced resident liaison teams are excited to be part of the next phase of the project and have been working hard to ensure that residents understand the purpose and benefits of the works to get to this point of the project.”
This project will not only help reduce carbon emissions, but also bring immediate benefits, including warmer homes, lower energy bills, and improved health and wellbeing for residents.”
We look forward to collaborating with Amplius again, so we can continue to deliver sustainable, people-focused improvements that help future-proof homes for the years ahead.
Fallon Warren, Head of Environment and Sustainability, Amplius said: “Improving the sustainability and energy efficiency of the homes we own and manage is important to us, as we know this can benefit the health and wellbeing of our customers.
This is a major project for Amplius and follows on from the success of our wave 2.1 project in which we improved more than 700 homes.”
