MSPS is providing digital inclusion workshops in Barnet
Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) has hosted a series of free digital inclusion workshops to help the residents of Barnet who struggle to get online. To date, we have delivered six sessions to the tenants of St Johnstone House and Rectory Close.
The residents could bring their own device, but if they didn’t have one they could use ours. Not only are the sessions informative but they also offer a great opportunity for residents to socialise as well. The sessions cover everything and anything such as smart phones, staying safe online, social media, saving money, online shopping and council services website.
The final sessions will be held on:
- 25 November from 1pm until 3pm at Rectory Close
- 2 December from 1pm until 3pm at St Johnstone House
A local resident said, “These sessions are great, it helps to bring the community together and I really enjoy learning.”
Sizi Sibanda, Social Value Business Partner at MSPS, said “I love getting out into the community, meeting the residents and helping them learn new skills. Plus, it gives us the opportunity to explain our other CSR projects such as career fairs in school and working with care leavers, plus I received some great feedback for potential future CSR projects!”
