Morgan Sindall Property Services Opens Apprentice Academy to Inspire the Next Generation

This month, Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) open its Apprentice Academy – a dedicated programme developed to support, guide and grow the next generation of skilled professionals at Morgan Sindall Property Services.
Since its initial rollout in 2023, the Apprentice Academy has received over 3,000 applications. Led by our passionate Social Value team, the Academy is designed to provide not just practical, hands-on experience, but also wraparound support to help apprentices thrive both personally and professionally.
The purpose of the Apprentice Academy is simple: to create meaningful opportunities that help young people kickstart fulfilling careers in the housing and property services industry. From tailored training plans and mentorship to life skills workshops and confidence-building activities, the Academy is about more than just learning a trade – it’s about creating lasting impact.
Whether joining as a future electrician, plumber, or in a business support role, every apprentice is given the tools they need to succeed in a supportive, structured environment. The Academy plays a vital role in delivering our social value commitments, helping to reduce youth unemployment and invest in local talent across our contracts.
This year, the Academy will offer exciting opportunities in roles like electricians, property maintenance, surveyor and more- helping young people build skills for a great career.
Head of Social Value at Morgan Sindall Property Services, Helen Sheen said:
“The Apprentice Academy is about more than just training – it’s about creating long-term opportunities for local people, especially in the areas where we work. It builds on our commitment to social mobility and our partnerships with schools to open up real career pathways.
By investing in employment and skills, we’re not only supporting individuals but also strengthening local economies and communities. Most importantly, we’re developing a future workforce with the right technical skills and a strong focus on customer service – making sure we have the right people in place to support our growth and deliver for our clients and residents.”
