MSPS supports CityWest Homes Open door event
Last week, CityWest Homes opened the doors to all CityWest and Westminster residents at the Porchester Hall in a bid to showcase the fantastic services and support, delivered by their many partners.
As newcomers to CityWest’s group of service providers, representatives from MSPS were on hand to promote the accessibility of the company’s maintenance services and wider social value initiatives.
MSPS had two stands at the event – one promoting apprenticeships, employment and training opportunities including a digital inclusion workshop for residents. Schedulers manned the other stand assisting residents with logging and checking the status of their repairs.
Over 500 people attended the event including The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cabinet Member for Housing Cllr Rachael Robathan and local councillors as well as many vital community, youth, health and wellbeing services.
Jonathan Cowie, Chief Executive of CityWest Homes said: “It is fantastic that so many of our residents came to find out more about the services we provide and the work we are doing within the local community. I would like to thank everyone who came along and contributed to making Open Door Day a success.
Cheryl Ogle, Customer Performance Manager at MSPS said: “The event was a great opportunity to meet with residents to showcase not only our services but the additional training and employment opportunities we can offer them.”
