Morgan Sindall Property Services Delivers £15 million in Social Value for Basildon

Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) has published its social value report for Basildon Borough Council, delivering £15 million in social value for the community between April 2024 and April 2025.
This contribution reflects our commitment to Basildon and its residents through employment opportunities, apprenticeships, and support for vital community initiatives. By investing in the local economy and helping shape future careers within the industry, we have ensured our work leaves a legacy of growth, resilience, and opportunity for the people of Basildon.
Key achievements from the year include:
- 216 hours of employability support delivered to residents
- 326 residents benefited from employability and training support
- £43,141 committed to employment initiatives for residents
- £2.7 million invested with the local supply chain
- £16,285 donated to local charities
- 342 students engaged with as part of our school engagement programme
- 6 apprentices employed
By working closely with the Council, our targeted approach to addressing local priorities allows MSPS to clearly demonstrate the positive social value we generate as a business. This collaborative effort means that our initiatives are co designed, meeting the needs of residents, creating impact where it matters most.

Currently, MSPS directly employ 139 people and work alongside 23 small businesses, helping to support the council’s commitments to support local businesses, equip the workforce with essential skills, and create high quality job opportunities.
