Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council

Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) work in partnership with Welwyn and Hatfield Borough Council to deliver its borough-wide housing responsive repairs, voids and planned works programmes to the Councils 9,500 homes.

As part of the partnership MSOS is implementing the Welwyn & Hatfield Borough Council’s SHDF 2.1 programme. This project encompasses retrofitting 172 properties with measures including External Wall Insulation (EWI), new roofs, triple glazing, and thermal doors. The initiative aims to enhance living conditions for residents of Welwyn & Hatfield while progressing towards their net zero goals.

Key to this partnership is the development of social value initiatives helping to support the local community including employment opportunities, resident training, employability support and apprenticeships.
