MSPS and Westminster City Council win ‘Best Contract’ at the NHMF Awards
Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) and Westminster City Council won the ‘Best Contract’ category at the National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) Awards on Tuesday evening at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole NEC.
The NHMF Awards recognise success and ingenuity within the housing sector, while awarding organisations that have raised the bar showcasing outstanding achievements. It also offers a chance for applicants to showcase joint projects where they have excelled in improving the quality and efficiency of the services they provide.
The ‘Best Contract’ category honours the contract that was best-managed for a maintenance provider by an external contractor or in-house maintenance team and is judged based on quality and cost.
For an organisation to win, the judges were looking for the applications to demonstrate that they have provided a first rate and more efficient service to its customers; evidence showing improvements are being experienced by residents including reducing repair demand and tailoring the service needs to meet residents demands; while delivering wider community benefits including social value initiatives.
